Some time in the late 1990's, dAS of Big City Orchestra (BCO) proposed producing a collaborative audio recording project to Charles Rice Goff III of Taped Rugs Productions. Goff enthusiastically consented, a few cassette tapes of unedited sounds and music were exchanged, and, by blending bits from each other's tapes together, BCO and Goff sculpted three recordings. The potential for creating more sculpted recordings for a final album's worth of material hung in the air for the next decade. In 2009, Goff proposed to dAS that they finish the album. dAS consented, but the project once again drifted toward entropy, and no additional sound sculptures were created by either BCO nor Goff.
In 2012, Goff and BCO chose to release to the public the three sound sculptures that they created in the late 1990's, archived here. BCO is responsible for concocting tracks one and three: "Glasshaus" and "Send Us Evil." Goff molded track two: "Burned In Their Lust." Some of the sounds and samples used to create these recordings have since appeared on other recording projects in other forms.
